I started working in the merchant services industry in 2000 with Cardservice International, one of the true pioneers in credit card processing. I had been in some form of sales all my life starting in retail sales when I was 16. I have always been more of a consultative type of person and have never believed in pressure selling or being dishonest to get a deal done. As I got further into my merchant services career moving up to establishing new merchant accounts, I realized my approach was the right one. By 2005, I went on my own as in independent rep which allowed me the freedom to seek out business for myself. I love dealing with people face-to-face and have spent years going to different areas in Southern California to introduce myself and see if I can help any businesses who are open to having me consult with them on their current service and show them how I can improve things for them. I have always prided myself on my high level of service on top of offering very competitive rates. I enjoy getting to know my merchants and having them get to know me as well. I look at every relationship as a long term one because I’m not in it to make a quick buck. I do as I promise which feels fulfilling at the end of the day.

By 2022, I realized that only having one option to offer for a merchant services provider was limiting me. I am a big dreamer and I did not want to pass up any business coming my way. From there, Card Service Guy was born. I didn’t want to just represent one company. I wanted to represent myself and be able to help any type of business from low to high risk. I also had been passing up business from dental offices that were using practice management software, so I partnered with Moolah who only works with dental offices and has integrations with practice management software. By adding additional processors, I’ve been able to give options to merchants and accommodate their specific needs.
